why My love for painting continues to shape my design practice…
As a traditionally trained artist with a background rooted in acrylic painting, continuing to evolve this skill alongside my design work has allowed me to explore a more expressive way of visual storytelling. Painting serves as both a creative outlet and a source of ongoing inspiration for me, which naturally translates to my work in scenic painting, set dressing, and prop making.
Continuing to develop this practice alongside my work in the TV, film and stage design industries has helped me to grow a more imaginative, exploratory approach to specific design briefs, bringing greater versatility to my work as a whole.
