This miniature environment is my interpretation of the underwater palace in 'The Kingdom Under the Sea' by Joan Aiken. Crafted entirely by hand, this model reflects how imagined worlds are shaped by memory and storytelling.
This project entailed the creation of a 2-tier scale model of my original design for a Martian home. I enjoyed exploring how nostalgia and comfort from the past could combine with optimism for the future in a home designed for life on Mars. All elements are handmade and created based on a retro futuristic aesthetic.

For this brief, I reimagined Shrek with a hyper-feminine protagonist, exploring how changing the main character’s gender and personality would transform the iconic setting. My final outcome is a scale model reflecting this new interpretation.

In this project I envisioned a theatre design through a 1/25 scale model, for an operatic performance based on the old Mexican Myth of La Llorona, or ‘the weeping woman’.
In this project I envisioned a theatre design through a 1/25 scale model, for an operatic performance based on the old Mexican Myth of La Llorona, or ‘the weeping woman’.
This fun project allowed me to explore how I could design products and create graphics for my scale model of a supermarket, following a 1980s style. This is more illustrative and experimental compared to previous models, and I enjoyed creating the packaging with my own photography and styling.
In this project I built upon my time management and problem-solving skills by creating a scale model of a room I visit every day, in just 24 hours. My materials were limited, and I enjoyed the challenge of pursuing a more stylised product as opposed to perfection.
From concept to completion, I very much enjoy the process of model making for film, television, theatre and any creative projects!
